Pyramid Excavation in Havana, Florida is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our construction team for projects in the Tallahassee and surrounding areas. You will operate skid steer, backhoe, dozer, excavator, grader, roller, and other heavy equipment while ensuring safety and efficiency on site.

Qualified applicants have a minimum of 3 years of heavy equipment operating experience, proven experience loading dump trucks in pits and excavation areas, and a solid understanding

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
• Experience loading dump trucks in pits and excavation areas.
• Experience with excavation for underground utilities.
• Basic understanding of grades, slopes, project layout, and construction sequencing.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy earth-moving equipment for underground utility installation and site development projects.
• Safely and efficiently operate equipment such as: Skid steer, Backhoe, Dozer, Excavator, Grader, Roller, and other heavy construction equipment as needed.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
