Job summary

Sequoia Services is seeking a full-time equipment operator to run CAT bulldozers (D5–D8) and CAT excavators (320–349) on construction sites in North Carolina. You will load trucks, grade terrain, and work with GPS guidance to achieve precise elevations.

Applicants should have 2+ years of construction experience, be able to obtain required certifications, and maintain a safe, productive work environment while coordinating with crew members and following signals and grade stakes.

Responsibilities

• Operate CAT bulldozers (D5–D8) safely and efficiently.
• Operate CAT excavators (320–349) to load trucks.
• Grade terrain using blade and ripper per grade stakes or GPS.
• Follow grade stakes, signals, or GPS controls.
• Maintain a safe, healthy work environment; follow procedures and regulations.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and basic repairs as needed.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and other activities.
• Update job knowledge by participating in training opportunities.
