Job summary

KEMRON Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to support environmental remediation, heavy construction, earthwork, and site-development projects.

This role safely operates excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and other equipment based on project requirements. Applicants must have a current 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and a valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.

Qualifications

• Current 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and valid driver's license required.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record meeting KEMRON vehicle insurance requirements.
• Minimum of five years' experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• At least two years in environmental construction, remediation, earthwork, or related field preferred.
• Ability to read plans, blueprints, and grade stakes; maintain safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate multiple heavy equipment types per project needs.
• Excavate, load, grade, and move soil and debris.
• Set grades, slopes, and elevations using stakes and plans.
• Load trucks and coordinate with drivers and spotters.
• Perform pre-use inspections and routine maintenance.
• Report defects and safety concerns promptly.
• Assist with traffic control and field technician duties.
• Follow safety plans and project procedures.
