Job summary

Sundt Construction seeks an experienced heavy equipment operator to safely operate a range of machines and perform pre-shift checks. You will maintain fuel, fluids, and basic preventative maintenance to ensure safe, productive performance on site.

The role requires reading and interpreting drawings, following safety standards, and effective communication with the crew. You will work in a 12-hour shift environment with strong emphasis on minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate heavy construction equipment as listed.
• Must be able to read and understand drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members.
• Produce high quality, safe, productive work at all times.
• Provide feedback to ensure resources are available for the work.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in methods and learn from others.
• Share knowledge and mentor others.

• Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, and unnecessary transport.
