Job summary

Fessler & Bowman Inc. is seeking an Operator to join our crew. This non-exempt role reports to the Foreman and supports civil earthwork and equipment operations across sites.

Our culture emphasizes teamwork, safety, and delivering high-quality results for customers. Essential duties include operating excavators, dozers, and loaders, loading/unloading equipment, and maintaining a safe, clean job site. Travel to nearby sites may be required; benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401k

Qualifications

• 3+ years of earthwork and civil construction experience.
• Willingness to follow safety policies and requirements.
• Needs ability to climb, kneel, bend and crawl; work on ladders and scaffolds.
• Must understand English and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Move earth, install pipes, and perform grading operations.
• Provide recommendations for environmental performance improvements.
• Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers.
• Maintain equipment, materials, and work site in a safe, clean condition.
• Complete required paperwork, reporting, and documentation.
