Job summary

Forgen in Turkey, TX seeks an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to operate and maintain dozers, scrapers, loaders, excavators, and related earth-moving gear in a safe, efficient manner on diverse sites.

You will read and follow safety plans, SDS, and training materials, coordinate with crews via handheld radios, and be prepared for extended hours including evenings and weekends. A high school diploma and 2+ years of heavy equipment experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of heavy equipment operation/maintenance experience for Operator 1; more for Operator 2 or 3.
• Must be able to operate and maintain heavy machinery safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy, motorized equipment (dozers, scrapers, loaders, excavators, compactors, etc.).
• Excavate, grade, and compact land surfaces on various sites.
• Coordinate tasks with radios and follow safety plans and SDS.
• Work extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Exhibit a strong safety culture and perform additional tasks as needed.
