Job summary

APAC Tennessee, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator for our open pit mine operations near Memphis. The role requires experience with loaders, dozers, excavators, or haul trucks and the ability to work in a team environment.

Candidates must have at least 3 years of equipment experience, willingness to travel up to 80%, and the ability to adhere to safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous related experience in the construction field and/or training.
• Two to Five years' experience in loader operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in mine operations.
• Report problems to your manager.
• Maintain safe work environment for yourself and coworkers.
• Follow directions of Foreman and daily task expectations.
• Perform routine servicing and minor maintenance of equipment.
• Complete daily pre- and post-inspections with documentation.
• Assist in training less-experienced staff on equipment operation.
• Travel to various locations up to 80%.
