Job summary

PCL Construction is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Abilene, Texas project. The role requires operating track hoe, dozer, scraper, graders, forklift, and telehandler to move materials per project specs.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Track hoe, Large dozer, Scraper, Motor graders, Dump truck, Large capacity forklift, Telehandler.
• Working knowledge of rigging and lifting systems.
• Understand manufacturer specifications and limitations for heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to keep it ready for use.
• Document maintenance logs on assigned equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment per project specifications.
• Perform maintenance such as cleaning, greasing, and oiling machines.
• Load and unload materials; dig, spread, and level dirt and gravel.
• Assist in ensuring areas are barricaded and travel paths are clear.
• Prioritize tasks according to job schedule and direction.
