Job summary

Royal Electric Company is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, including the airport. You will operate backhoes, excavators, skid steers, water trucks and wheel loaders, keeping safety and efficiency at the forefront.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years’ experience in water/sewer/storm drain or underground utility work, with OSHA excavation knowledge and daily log routines. Equal opportunity employer; competitive wages and benefits provided.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience operating heavy equipment
• Experience with backhoes, excavator, skid steer, water truck, and wheel loaders
• Must have experience in the Water, Sewer, Storm Drain or underground utility field
• General knowledge of confined space entry, construction, complex pumping systems, electrical
• Competent and knowledgeable relating to OSHA excavation requirements
• Knowledge of construction stakes and grades
• Daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections; maintain daily log
• Must be eligible for airport badging process

Salary Range

• $28.00/hour - $32.00/hour
• Note: This is a Private Base Rate. This position is Prevailing Wage/Davis Bacon Eligible depending on project assignment. Additional fringe benefits may per project designated wage determination.
