Job summary

Evans Construction, a CRH company, is seeking an Equipment Operator in Jackson, Wyoming. This skilled role involves safe operation of loaders, backhoes, excavators, haul trucks and related heavy gear on our projects, with emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety rules.

You will keep equipment clean, maintain the jobsite, locate utilities, and assist at times with pipe or road work. A high school diploma or GED and prior heavy equipment experience are preferred; valid driver's

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous heavy equipment operation experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions and memos.
• Basic math skills for measurements and unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep interior of equipment clean and free of debris.
• Maintain clean and orderly jobsite.
• Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
• Maintain knowledge of trenching/shoring standards.
• Keep time and material records.
• Understand aggregate sizes and load weight requirements.
