Job summary

Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator in Snyder, OK to support daily operations.

You will safely operate loaders, excavators, motor graders, dozers and haul trucks, transport raw materials from railcars to stockpiles, and load finished products for distribution. You will help maintain roadways and loading areas, perform pre-shift inspections, follow MSHA/OSHA safety rules, and assist with repairs and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency preferred
• 1+ years heavy equipment operating experience preferred
• Must read, write and communicate in English

Responsibilities

• Operates various mobile equipment, including motor graders, track mobiles, and haul units
• Performs daily pre-shift inspections on equipment
• Performs preventative maintenance on service mobile equipment. Reports needed repairs to Coordinator
• Follows safety rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by MSHA/OSHA & policies
• Provides relief in other plant operations such as rail unloading, maintenance, quality control, and scale house
