Job summary

HK Contractors, a CRH company, is seeking an Equipment Operator for Rexburg area in Idaho. You will safely operate loaders, excavators, bulldozers and other heavy equipment, perform inspections, and maintain production targets in a team environment.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of heavy equipment experience, a valid driver's license (CDL preferred), and the ability to follow safety procedures. GED or high school diploma is preferred; willing to work overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• Basic safety procedures and equipment inspections required.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (loaders, excavators, bulldozers, haul trucks) as assigned.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections.
• Monitor equipment performance and adjust for productivity.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Load, transport, and stockpile materials per production needs.
• Report major issues to maintenance staff.
