Responsibilities

• Move machine fluidly to create and relocate stockpiles and load contents into trucks, conveyors, hoppers, or stockpiles
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and obey all traffic rules on and off site
• Meet productivity targets and adapt to changing work conditions
• Maintain alert vision and depth perception for safe operation
• Maintain radio contact with Supervisor for instructions
• Inspect tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water on equipment
• Assist in emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires and bulbs
• Inspect equipment for defects before, during, and after shifts and report conditions
• Follow federal/state safety regulations and company safety policies
• Keep equipment clean and presentable and perform maintenance as required
• Communicate clearly in English when performing job duties
