Job summary

Brice Civil Constructors Inc Regular is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator to work on-site in Houston, TX. You will drive and operate heavy machinery to support road, bridge, and building projects while following project plans and safety rules.

Qualified candidates should have at least 5 years of heavy equipment experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass required screenings. Some positions may involve weekend/hours flexibility and GPS-enabled equipment expertise.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Five (5) years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
• Ability to pass drug, driving (if applicable), and background screenings.
• Preferred: underground utility experience and GPS system operation on heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all types of heavy construction equipment on site in Houston, TX.
• Drive, maneuver and control heavy machinery to construct roads, bridges, buildings, and other structures.
• Follow project plans and instructions from the Forman and Superintendent.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew using hand or audio signals and maintain safe work practices.
• Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and report defects or needed repairs.
