POSITION SCOPE

The Heavy Equipment Operator must be able to operate a skid steer, loader, dozer, crusher, or excavator according to project specifications. The individual will be responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment daily. This position does require travel.

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus!

* Bonuses paid out, half after 90 days of employment and the other half after 6 months of employment

PRIMARY DUTIES
  • Operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goals
  • Assist with setup and tear down of plants
  • Perform general maintenance, repair, and service equipment as required or directed by supervisor
  • General housekeeping of equipment and plants daily or as directed by supervisor
  • Lift objects weighing up to 80 lb. regularly
  • Use shovel to move material as necessary
  • Perform all duties within safety guidelines set by MSHA and company policy
  • Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup
  • Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to operate equipment efficiently to meet project specifications
  • Mechanical knowledge of equipment and routine maintenance skills
  • Basic knowledge of welding and use of cutting torch
  • Acceptable MVR per Fisher's Vehicle Program policy
  • MSHA part 46 and/or part 48 certification or willingness to obtain (company pays for certification)
  • Ability to work under various adverse weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow
  • Pass pre-employment drug test
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Travel will be required
