Heavy Equipment Operator - $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

Position Overview

The Heavy Equipment Operator will operate skid steer, loader, dozer, crusher, or excavator according to project specifications, and will be responsible for daily equipment servicing and maintenance. This role requires travel.

Sign-On Bonus: $1,000!

  • Bonuses paid in two installments: half after 90 days, and half after 6 months of employment.
Primary Duties
  • Operate equipment efficiently to meet production goals.
  • Assist with plant setup and teardown.
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and service on equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work sites daily.
  • Lift objects weighing up to 80 lbs regularly.
  • Use shovels to move materials as needed.
  • Follow safety guidelines per MSHA standards and company policies.
  • Conduct pre-shift inspections on equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to operate equipment efficiently per project specifications.
  • Mechanical knowledge for routine maintenance.
  • Basic welding and cutting torch skills.
  • Valid MVR in accordance with company policy.
  • Willingness to obtain MSHA certification (company-paid).
  • Ability to work under various weather conditions.
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Willing to travel.
