Essential Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment
Providing light maintenance and routine service to equipment
Operating equipment, hand tools and lifts heavy items (up to 50 pounds)
Reading underground utility locates and ensuring safe digging practices are always being adhered to
Maintaining a healthy and safe work environment for the crew, the public, the customer, and Ledcor
Assists with restoring job sites back to their original state
Qualifications:
Active CDL A or CDL B with combination endorsement is preferred
Experience operating a skid steer, mini excavator, and/or back hoe is an asset
Two years of experience in Heavy Equipment operation
Must successfully complete a criminal background check and pre-access drug and alcohol screening
Experience with safely operating a variety of large and small power equipment, light vehicles and properly towing/backing-up trailers
Work Conditions:
Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)
This position will require travel throughout the state of Wisconsin
