About the Position

The primary responsibilities include the safe and efficient operation of mobile aggregate mining and processing equipment, along with monitoring all equipment under control.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Regular, reliable attendance at the worksite.
• Adherence to safety and environmental rules, regulations, and procedures as per company policies and MSHA.
• Operate and monitor equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections; repair and clean equipment as needed.
• Maintain overall housekeeping of the plant, equipment, and site.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and timely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lift objects up to 75 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently.
• Climb stairs and ladders repeatedly.
• Perform bending, crawling, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
• Use vibration-producing tools frequently.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Stand, walk, squat, and tolerate prolonged periods of standing, walking, or sitting.
• Walk on uneven surfaces regularly.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Entry to mid-level experience with equipment used at the facility.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Good safety, behavior, and attendance record.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to perform heavy labor and work outside in all weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule including shifts, overtime, and weekends.
• Ability to work near or on heavy equipment.
