Job summary

Consolidated Resource is seeking a qualified equipment operator to support a wide range of tasks in daily operations. The role requires safe operation in potentially hazardous environments and strong teamwork.

You will assist crews when equipment operation is not the primary task, lift heavy objects, and handle hand and power tools. Responsibilities include reading project plans, laying out excavation zones, attending daily safety and JSA meetings, and inspecting safety equipment.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
• Must be able to come to work promptly, regularly, and on-time.
• Able to follow instruction and carry out duties while unsupervised.
• Work proficiently with tools and equipment.
• Willing to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Capable of openly communicating ideas and problems.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• CDL is preferred but not required.

Pay: $24.00 - $36.00 per hour

Job description:

This position serves as a qualified equipment operator and is used to support a wide variety of tasks in our day to day. operations. Job duties will vary considerably from day to day as this is a very diverse position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Work safely in potentially hazardous environments
• Participate in daily safety meetings and duties
• Offer labor support to crews when equipment operating is not the primary task at hand.
• Lift/Carry heavy objects up to 50#
• Proficiently use hand and power tools
• General construction and excavation skills

• Earth moving equipment. Backhoe, skid steer, excavators, loaders, dozers, motor grader, trencher, compaction equipment
• Forklifts
• Arial lifts
• Ability to perform general maintenance and inspections of the equipment they will be operating.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position is not a supervisory role but will remain accountable to help ensure all co-workers are working in a manner that is conducive to the safety of everyone around. This position will report directly to their respective supervisor.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position will be faced with varying working conditions. Inclement and/or extreme weather may be a factor as well as other unforeseen conditions. The potential for long hours and varying shifts may also exist.
