Responsibilities

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will support all phases of utility construction for various telecom projects. You believe in doing the job right, being the best, and embracing challenges.

In addition, you will:

1. Operate light construction equipment, including backhoes, cable plows, trenchers, hydraulic reel trailers, and other machinery; ensure maintenance of these as required.
2. Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field.
3. Read and understand utility locates and above-ground utility indicators to ensure crew safety and high productivity.

Qualifications

About You:

• Safety is a part of your daily routine.
• You have a track record of completing work with high quality.
• Must have a CDL.
• You enjoy solving hard problems and prefer a hands-on approach.
• You are interested in long-term projects.
• You like working with your team and getting your hands dirty.
• You have experience operating heavy equipment on construction sites.

MOS Codes 12N, 12V, 21E, and 21J relate well to this position.
