SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The role involves operating a variety of heavy trucks, tractors, and construction equipment on a regular basis. Responsibilities include checking for proper functioning, operating equipment such as street sweepers, bulldozers, front-end loaders, asphalt paving machines, rollers, twin axle trucks, backhoes, tractors, forklifts, skid steer loaders, and motor patrols.
Essential Job Functions:
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalency required. Requires four (4) years of related experience and a valid state Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). A full Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or National Institute for Automotive Service certification is preferred.
Degree Equivalency:
Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years plus required experience.
Master’s Degree = 2 years plus required experience. For Master’s degrees, include years for Bachelor’s Degrees.
