A&K Railroad Materials Inc. is looking for a dependable, hands-on Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Mira Loma, CA. We're looking for someone who knows how to operate equipment safely, isn't afraid to get their hands dirty, and takes pride in keeping operations organized and running smoothly.

This is more than an equipment operating position. We're looking for someone with leadership potential who wants to learn our business, take initiative, and grow into greater responsibility within our yard operations.

What You'll Do

You’ll spend your time both operating heavy equipment and working alongside the yard crew. Responsibilities include moving, loading, unloading, and organizing railroad materials, performing general labor, maintaining an organized yard, and helping keep daily operations running safely and efficiently.

We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, recognizes what needs to be done, and doesn’t always have to wait for someone else to provide direction.

Requirements

• Previous heavy equipment operating experience in a yard, construction, warehouse, or industrial environment.
• Someone comfortable performing hands-on general labor and working outdoors.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
• Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Someone who demonstrates leadership potential and wants to take on additional responsibility.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn our ERP system.
