Tri State Paving seeks an Equipment Operator to handle operation and daily maintenance of construction equipment including pavers, rollers, skid steers, excavators, backhoes, and loaders. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and securing equipment per company policy.

An Equipment Operator is responsible for the operation and general daily maintenance of all equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Equipment may include, but is not limited to, pavers, rollers, skid steers, excavators, backhoes, and loaders. The Equipment Operator must also maintain and secure all equipment by company policy and procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to work safely and efficiently is a priority.
Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant industry standards, policies, and site procedures to minimize risk of injury, property damage or loss of life
Ability to excavate and maintain required grade
Complete projects in a timely manner to keep crew productive
Performs daily safety and maintenance checks
Assists in loading and unloading of equipment
Cleans equipment as scheduled and/or required
Ensures equipment is safely and securely stored at close of shift
Maintains operator forms and records in accordance with company policy and procedures
When not operating equipment, works with and assists crew in completing assigned task, including, but not limited to, general labor, concrete work, asphalt work, etc.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Wears required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
Practices workplace safety on a continual basis
Performs other duties as required or assigned
