Job summary

Skilled Trades Partners is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator in the Worcester-Boston corridor for long-term, steady work. If you’re skilled at operating heavy machinery and take pride in safe, quality work, we want to talk to you.

You’ll work on demolition, excavation, and utility installation projects, reading plans and grading stakes with attention to safety and efficiency. Requirements include a 2A/1C operator license, valid driver's license, and ability to transport to site.

Qualifications

• 2A/1C Operator license required or equivalent.
• Experience operating multiple heavy equipment types.
• Ability to read blueprints and grade stakes.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 10 certificate preferred.
• Strong communication and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (excavator, skid steers, dozer, loaders, backhoes, etc.).
• Perform demolition, excavation, dredging, utility installation, and hardscaping tasks.
• Read and interpret construction plans and grade stakes.
• Work safely and efficiently as part of a crew.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections.
