Tiello has partnered with a premier residential builder in Stamford, CT to fill a Machine Operator position. The role covers operating heavy equipment, driving a dump truck, and supporting site crews on high-end residential properties.

The ideal candidate will have real construction experience, a dependable attitude, and the ability to handle physical outdoor work in varying weather. CDL Class A is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license preferred.
• Experience operating excavators, skid steers, lulls, backhoes.
• Experience as a laborer and driver in construction.
• Ability to maintain, service, and perform light maintenance on equipment.
• Familiarity with CT DOT and industry standards.
• Strong attention to detail in inspections, tests, and documentation.
• Proficiency using relevant tools.
• Able to perform physical demands: lifting, climbing, outdoors.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with a can-do attitude.
• Must pass drug testing, motor vehicle license check, and background check.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, skid steers, lulls, backhoes and other heavy equipment for site work (digging, grading, trenching, backfilling).
• Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials, debris, and equipment.
• Contribute as a laborer to support crews and keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain and service equipment and perform light maintenance as needed.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report issues promptly.
• Load, secure, and unload materials safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Plan, coordinate, and help execute project tasks with the on-site team.
• Work safely on active residential properties, respecting client homes and surroundings.
• Maintain accurate inspection, test, and equipment documentation.

Tiello has partnered with a premier residential builder in Stamford, CT who has an immediate need for a Machine Operator.

Ideally we are looking for a Machine Operator, Laborer, and CDL Driver (Class A license). This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role for someone who can operate machinery, drive, contribute as a laborer, and help keep our job sites running smoothly. The ideal candidate must have real construction experience, they must take pride in their work, and bring a dependable, can-do attitude to the team every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators, skid steers, lulls, backhoes, and other heavy equipment for site work including digging, grading, trenching, and backfilling

• Contribute as a laborer to support crews and keep projects on schedule
