Job summary

Powder Mountain is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to operate loaders, graders, snow blowers, salt plows, snow cats, and snowmobiles during snow events. You will maintain equipment, log operations, and keep areas clear of snow and debris.

The role requires working nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts in cold mountain weather at elevations around 9,000 feet. Safe operation and team coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years heavy equipment operator experience.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
• Good communication and dependable work ethic.
• Reliable transportation (preferably 4x4).

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as loader, road grader, snow blower, sand salt plow truck, snow cat, and snowmobiles.
• Maintain and keep equipment clean and ready for operation; log work details.
• Clear parking lots, public areas and Powder Mountain roads of snow and debris.
• Mitigate snow damage or snow slides and assist in removal of distressed vehicles.
• Be on-call, work nights, weekends, and holidays; operate at 9,000 ft in inclement weather.
