What You’ll Do

1. Promote Safety: Prioritize safety according to MSHA and Vulcan standards for yourself and others at all times.
2. Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate off-highway equipment to transport raw materials and finished products efficiently.
3. Inspect Equipment: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete relevant documentation accurately.
4. Maintain Equipment: Check vehicle fluid levels, add fluids as needed, and assist with minor maintenance.
5. Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings: Keep an eye on plant operations and report any maintenance or safety issues.

Skills You’ll Need

• Experience: Previous experience operating heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of Best Practices: Understanding of operating and servicing heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Flexibility: Willing to work overtime, extended hours, outdoors in all weather conditions, and tolerate loud noises.
