Job summary

Steel Dynamics, Inc. is hiring a loader operator to support daily operations at our facility. You will coordinate with your supervisor on daily schedules, perform start-up preparations, and move materials as required while maintaining a clean work area.

The role requires adherence to safety procedures and the ability to work in varied weather conditions. Qualifying candidates are certified loader operators with a strong safety mindset and the ability to perform duties at heights as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be certified loader operator.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to frequently work with heights.
• Possess a clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with supervisor for daily operation schedule.
• Perform preparations for start-up in accordance with established procedures and fill out daily maintenance log sheets.
• Sort and move material as necessary.
• Shut down loader in accordance with established procedures.
• Clean up work area.
