Job summary

1aes is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator in Danville, VA. The role involves moving large chiller units on company property, loading and unloading trucks, and maneuvering units through paint, assembly, and testing stages. 8-hour days from 7am to 4pm, with potential weekend work.

• Operating a 36,000 Lb. fork truck
• Loading and unloading trucks with units
• Moving units in and out of paint production
• Moving units in and out of assembly production
• Moving units on and off of testing stations
• Moving units around the yard

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of safe work practices and willingness to comply with safety policies and procedures
• 3-4 years of previous heavy equipment driving experience a must
• Attention to detail
• HS diploma and/or GED

Working Conditions:

• 8-hour workdays (7am-4pm) with one hour lunch break
• Mandatory weekend work may be required
• Exposure to weather conditions, heat/cold
