Work With Us | Maricopa County, AZ**We Require*** Three years of experience operating trucks and heavy equipment* High school diploma or GED* A valid Arizona Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a tanker endorsement* State and federal regulations require Maricopa County to conduct a pre-employment safety history investigation for all positions that require an applicant to possess a commercial driver’s license (CDL). Maricopa County is also required to conduct a pre-employment safety history investigation for positions that directly impact commercial motor vehicle safety, but may not specifically require a valid CDL**We Also Value*** Experience transporting equipment along with operating/driving the following: motor grader, backhoe, frontend loader, distributor trucks, and various types of small equipment.**Job Contributions*** Operate a variety of medium to large-sized construction and maintenance equipment/vehicles in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures* Plan and prioritize work tasks; read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications* Perform pre- and post-checks, clean, service, and minor maintenance repairs on equipment/vehicles. Identify and report mechanical problems requiring additional repair* Complete required daily logs and prepare reports; enter information in the asset management system (Cartegraph).
