Job summary

Oak Hill Contractors, LLC is seeking experienced Haul Equipment Operators in Illinois and surrounding states. The role involves operating articulated haul trucks, skid steers, GPS dozers, and excavators with a strong emphasis on safety, production, and quality.

Candidates with surface coal mining, landfills, or solar panel site experience are a plus. 10–12 hour shifts, 5–6 days per week, with Sundays off. Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment including haul trucks, skid steers, GPS dozers, or excavators.
• Strong focus on safety, production, and quality.
• Willingness to travel and work on various project sites.

Position Overview

Oak Hill Contractors, LLC is seeking experienced Haul equipment Operators, in IL and the surrounding states.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Operate articulating haul trucks, skid steers, GPS Dozers, or excavators safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, production, and quality.
• Experience in surface coal mining, landfills, or solar panel sites is a plus.
• Must be self-motivated, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Availability to travel is a plus
• Surface 50023 MSHA certification is strongly preferred.

Schedule

• Approximately 10–12-hour workdays.
• 5–6 days per week, depending on project needs.
• Every Sunday off guaranteed.
