Job summary

Oak Hill Contractors, LLC is seeking Experienced GPS Dozer Operators for both short- and long-term contracts across the Southern Illinois region and the Midwest. A safety-focused, self-motivated candidate with strong production and quality orientation will fit this team.

Must have GPS experience and fine grading skills, with ability to lead a crew and communicate effectively about dirt placement, grading, and elevations. MSHA papers are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew on dirt placement and grading tasks.
• Plan progression and anticipate site needs as work advances.
• Perform grading to flat planes and conduct ditch shaping/elevation checks.

We specialize in land reclamation, land clearing, revegetation, drain projects, and brush mowing. We contract with coal mines, landfills, quarries, USACE, and many other entities.

Position Overview

Oak Hill is actively recruiting Experienced GPS Dozer Operators for short- and long-term contract jobs in the Southern Illinois region, throughout the Midwest, and many other areas. Applicants must be self-motivated, safety-conscious, and efficient in the areas of production and quality. Surface 50023 MSHA papers are highly preferred.

Qualified applicants must have the following:

• Fine Grading Skills
• Topcon operating system skills (preferred).
• Ability to lead a group within a crew and communicate well with other employees on dirt placement, etc.
• Forward-thinking and proper planning as the job progresses
• Ability to put flat planes to grade as well as be able to perform ditch shaping and elevation checks.
• MUST HAVE GPS EXPERIENCE
