EMR in Baton Rouge is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our depot, operating excavators to move and process metal and support the team. You will perform daily equipment inspections, follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and work outdoors in all weather while maintaining a high standard of reliability.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate excavators to move and process metal
• Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance

• Support the team with additional duties as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience with material handling and excavators (a plus)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and ability to multitask
• Must pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
