Job summary

Pro-Vac in the United States is seeking a hands-on heavy equipment technician to maintain our fleet, organize work orders by priority, analyze equipment issues, and troubleshoot independently in a fast-paced environment.

You should have experience with heavy equipment (minimum one year), shop experience (two years), and be proficient with computer systems to complete daily tasks; you’ll perform repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical and hydraulic systems, and complete DOT inspections as

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of heavy equipment experience.
• Two or more years of shop environment experience.
• Proficiency with computer systems and applications for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs, including welding as needed.
• Repair gas and diesel engines, transmissions, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Complete Federal DOT inspections on commercial vehicles.
