CoVolt Power is a leading utility-scale EPC company specializing in solar, BESS, and high voltage infrastructure. We deliver de-risked project execution across North America for developers, utilities, IPPs, and data centers.

We seek an experienced Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on our fleet. The role requires reading manuals and schematics, knowledge of diesel engines, and willingness to travel to job sites; safety and OSHA compliance are

Qualifications

Proven work experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic.
Ability to perform DOT inspections.
Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Ability to read and apply information from technical manuals, prints, and schematics.
Willingness to travel to customer sites for repair/maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled maintenance on all company equipment including rented and leased assets.
Maintain and repair heavy equipment, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace mechanical components such as motors, belts, pulleys, bearings, and drive components.
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace pneumatic components and hydraulic equipment.
Assist in training of lower-level technicians as needed.
Maintain daily work orders and documentation; manage paperwork electronically.
