Signal Energy Constructors is seeking a Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on a range of equipment used in renewable energy construction. The role requires troubleshooting, reading manuals and schematics, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The candidate should have experience with diesel engines and construction equipment, own tools, and be capable of travel to job sites when required.

Formación

• Proven work experience as a Diesel or Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Knowledge of DOT inspections.
• Ability to perform maintenance on all company equipment (rented/leased).
• Ability to read technical manuals, prints and schematics.
• Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and repair heavy equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair or replace mechanical components such as motors, belts and pulleys.
• Keep work orders and documentation up to date daily.
• Assist with training of lower-level technicians as needed.
• Travel to customer sites for repair/maintenance when required.
