The role focuses on minimizing downtime, maximizing safety, and keeping equipment operating efficiently across plants and sites. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting of engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and test after repairs.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in the service repair industry (Auto/Heavy Truck and Equipment).
• Knowledge of gas and diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of heavy equipment (asphalt pavers, rollers, milling machines).
• Perform regular preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on heavy machinery and vehicles.
• Identify faulty components and replace worn-out parts using diagnostic tools.
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper functionality and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and services performed, and manage parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Work with team members and management to prioritize and complete work efficiently.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanics.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns or equipment failures on-site.
