Job summary

A leading equipment maintenance firm in La Crosse is looking for a Mechanic Intern to gain hands-on experience with heavy equipment. The intern will work with experienced mechanics on preventive maintenance, engine repairs, and diagnostic tests. Ideal candidates are currently pursuing an associate’s degree in diesel mechanics or a related field, show attention to detail, and are self-motivated. Qualifications

• Pursuing an associate’s degree in diesel mechanics or a related field.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Ability to travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with mechanics to complete preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assist in engine repairs and run diagnostic tests.
• Report and document all repairs and maintenance.
