Himes Equipment in Van Alstyne, TX is seeking a highly experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to diagnose and repair a variety of machines on-site. The role requires working in all weather conditions and collaborating with a small team of sales staff, yard personnel, and fellow mechanics.

You will fix electrical, hydraulic, engine and transmission problems, and you may use Diesel Laptop software. The shop offers a 10,000 sq ft covered workspace, a 40-hour week, boot allowance, and competitive pay.

• Able to diagnose and fix various models of heavy equipment.
• Willingness to work outside in ALL TYPES OF WEATHER
• Highly skilled in fixing electrical, hydraulic, engine and transmission related issues
• Work well with a small team of salesman, yard staff, and other mechanics
• Work fast, fix the problem, move on to the next machine
• Ability to work with and or own Diesel Laptop software
