Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America seeks an experienced mobile equipment technician to inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy quarry machinery. You will perform preventive maintenance on trucks, loaders, excavators, and dozers, respond to breakdowns, and restore equipment to safe operating condition promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and diesel-powered mobile equipment systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to identify root causes and implement repairs.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mobile equipment used in quarry and aggregate operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on haul trucks, loaders, excavators, dozers, and other heavy equipment to maximize reliability.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and return machinery to safe operating condition quickly.
• Complete maintenance records, work orders, and equipment inspections accurately and on time.
• Support safe work practices and collaborate with operations teams to maintain productivity and equipment performance.
