Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a mobile equipment technician to inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in quarry operations. You will perform preventive maintenance on haul trucks, loaders, excavators, dozers, and other heavy machinery to maximize reliability and uptime.

Responsibilities include completing maintenance records, work orders, and equipment inspections accurately and on time, supporting safe work practices, and collaborating with operations teams to sustain

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and diesel-powered mobile equipment in a field or shop environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective repairs.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and equipment inspection procedures.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established policies, procedures and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced quarry environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mobile equipment used in quarry operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on haul trucks, loaders, excavators, dozers and other heavy equipment to maximize reliability.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and return machinery to safe operating condition promptly.
• Complete maintenance records, work orders and equipment inspections accurately and on time.
• Support safe work practices and collaborate with operations teams to maintain productivity and equipment performance.
