Job summary

PrimeTech International, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to analyze malfunctions, repair, rebuild, and maintain power equipment such as cranes, shovels, and bulldozers.

This position falls under the McNamara-O’Hara SCA for prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits. The role requires inspecting and repairing a range of heavy-duty military vehicles, using diagnostic tools, reading manuals, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience inspecting and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic components on a wide variety of heavy-duty military vehicles using computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skilled in planning, controlling, executing, multi-tasking and being responsible for the successful completion of work requirements.
• Ability to effectively read and write in English, comprehend written instructions, perform common mathematical tasks, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance activities and/or equipment operation at the local places of performance.
• Develop maintenance procedures, ensure implementation, allocate workload, supervise contractor employees, and monitor equipment status.
• Monitor and manage relationships with the customer.
• Keep maintenance logs, report on daily activities, as well as health and safety policies.
• Adhere to PTi quality, safety, and environmental standards.
