Job summary

Hinkle Contracting, LLC, a CRH Company, seeks an Equipment Mechanic to service a fleet of dump trucks, trailers and heavy machinery. This role requires diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment with a focus on preventive maintenance and reliability.

You will operate and test equipment and must be able to read manuals and schematics. The position is full-time, on-site at our Kentucky facilities, with potential overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in diesel trucks and heavy equipment.
• Must own tools.
• CDL class A preferred.
• Willing to work weekends/extended hours.
• Ability to read instructions and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Repair heavy machinery and maintain fleet vehicles.
• Interpret instructions, diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Weld and fabricate basic parts.
• Road test equipment.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Maintain records of time and parts.
