Qualifications

• At least 3 years of heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to read parts/service manuals and understand schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild on/off road vehicles and equipment.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Order parts from approved sources.

Skills

Ability to disassemble and reassemble large machines

Experience with machine undercarriages

Hydraulic knowledge

Electrical knowledge of vehicles

Welding and light fabrication experience

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Trade school or work at equipment dealers
