Job summary

CMC is seeking an experienced heavy equipment maintenance mechanic in a hands-on role across our fleet and site infrastructure. You will perform DOT maintenance on road tractors and trailers, service mobile equipment, cranes and welding rigs, and ensure daily preventive maintenance and safety protocols are followed.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, and the ability to read technical diagrams and service manuals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• Experience with hydraulics/pneumatics, engines, mobile equipment and vehicles.
• Proficient reading and understanding of technical documents and service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT maintenance on road tractors and trailers.
• Maintain mobile equipment, cranes, bearings, hydraulics/pneumatics, and welding/rigging.
• Ensure daily preventative maintenance, fueling, cleaning and fluid checks.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns; call for repairs when needed.
• Repair engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
