Job summary

Edgewood Properties, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic based in South Plainfield, NJ. The role requires at least 3 years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing heavy construction equipment across our multi-family portfolio.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in heavy equipment repair.
• Troubleshooting and diagnostic experience.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Diagnose with scanners and diagnostic programs.
• Valid NJ Driver's License.
• CDL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair heavy equipment across the portfolio (excavators to asphalt equipment).
• Diagnose and repair differentials, hydraulic systems, motors, transmissions, A/C and electrical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance schedules.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We're currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for our multi-family portfolio of properties, with at least 3 years of industry experience.

This position will be based out of our South Plainfield, NJ office

Responsibilities

• Repairs on all types of heavy construction equipment (Excavators, Bulldozers, End Dumps, Graders, Rollers, Backhoes, Skid Steers, Asphalt Equipment, etc.)
• Diagnose and repair Differentials, Hydraulic Systems, Motors, Transmissions, A/C Systems and Electrical Systems
• Preventative Maintenance work and schedules

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in heavy equipment repair
• Troubleshooting and Diagnostic experience
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Diagnose with scanners and diagnostic programs
• Valid NJ Drivers License
• CDL a plus
