Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience in operation and maintenance of cranes.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using automotive diagnostics tools.
  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting testing.
  • Adjust equipment and replace faulty parts to ensure equipment functionality and safety.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to thwart potential failures and guarantee smooth operations.
  • Interpret technical manuals and drawings to execute repairs and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and management to maintain machinery schedules and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Test repaired machinery to verify successful restoration and adherence to performance and safety standards.

Compensation

$43.94 per hour.

Shift

This position works a 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. schedule, with overtime as needed.

What You Will Do
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using automotive diagnostics tools
  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting testing
  • Adjust equipment and replace faulty parts to ensure equipment functionality and safety
  • Performing routine maintenance checks on machinery to thwart potential failures and guarantee smooth operations
  • Interpret technical manuals and drawings to execute repairs and enhancements

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years hands‑on experience in heavy equipment maintenance
  • Strong understanding of electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Experience in operation and maintenance of cranes
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Five (5) years hands‑on experience in heavy equipment maintenance with a strong understanding of electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Valid crane operating license/certification
  • Vocational certification or an associate's degree in mechanical engineering or related fields.
  • Professional Certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certification
