Job summary

Berkel is seeking a full-time shop Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on cranes, forklifts, and other construction equipment. Mechanical ability and some experience required, with Berkel providing training for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include scheduled maintenance, accurate service documentation, part repair/replacement, routine lubrication, and potential travel. Candidates should lift over 40 lbs and have a high school diploma or GED.

• Repair and replace damaged or worn parts on equipment.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
• Basic Diesel, Hydraulic, and Wiring.
• Some traveling may be required.
