Job summary
Taldeco in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technicians for a full-time role in a hot, loud industrial setting. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain furnaces, conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and automated equipment to keep production running safely and efficiently.
Candidates should have 2+ years of industrial maintenance or millwright experience and strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills. Overtime and weekend work may be required.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance or millwright experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience repairing motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, or industrial machinery.
- Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair heavy industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain furnaces, conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and automated loaders.
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications.
- Complete preventive maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
- Troubleshoot electrical controls, sensors, switches, and PLC issues.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and equipment diagrams.
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures and document maintenance work.
