Job summary

Carolina Cat is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Lube Technician to perform preventive maintenance and lube system repairs on heavy construction equipment. The role involves substantial customer interaction, so strong service and communication skills are essential.

Candidates should be able to operate and inspect equipment, follow PM schedules, climb in and around machines, and bring their own tools. We offer a stable, family-owned environment focused on growth and reliability.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent and 1–3 years of related experience.
• Experience with Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu, Volvo equipment preferred.
• Able to comprehend safety, service and parts manuals.
• Able to climb in/on equipment and adapt to awkward positions.
• Must bring own tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect machines for lubrication and PM services.
• Complete services safely, accurately, and on schedule.
• Review PM intervals and schedules.
• Maintain a positive attitude and strong communication.
• Operate lube truck safely.
• Learn and adapt as machine models change.
• Other duties as assigned.
